This card will play all your games on the highest settings. I don't find that the exaust is that hot which means the cooler does its job well. Picked this card up for about $250 and was a great buy. This card will make NVidia enthusiasts switch over once they see what this card is capable of.

One of the best GPU purchases for the money I ever purchased, outstanding high end performance. Performs close to the GTX 280 for much less.

This is a great card and I have been running games on Ultra High settings at 1680x1050 with steady playing of above 60 frames/sec.

This is just an awesome card, I went from a Radeon 1950XT to this card, and wow just amazing difference, can do alot more with AA/AF and I'm totally impressed. Visiontek offers a good warrenty on this card, but I'll be honest, warrenty is not a big thing for me, as I'll replace the card before I need to use the warrenty anyways. Also for price compared to it's rival Nvidia counterpart they can't even compare. Time for a new monitor now, and maybe another one for some crossfire sexyness.

This video card is amazing... best thing out there for price-performance. And I was shocked when I read it was 3.6 GHZ originally... <3'ing it. And somethin I would recommend for you to use, is to google the word 'rivatuner' and after you install that, open it click customize (first one you see near top), click the icon of the video card, enable low-level fan control, fixed. Then set the percentage from 30-45 percent (stock caps it at 20%), and youll drop the idle and load temps by a lot without having the fan crazy loud, 35% gets about 66 on load temps (using an antec 900 case). this item is AWESOMMEEEEEEE.

I have recently bought this graphics card and all that I can say is that ATI really worked hard on this one. The 4870 is a card that you get you bang for your buck.

This card performs very well at all resolutions that I run on my 22" wide screen LCD monitor. I tend to stick to the native 1680 x 1050 and with my E8400 CPU on the P5Q Pro Motherboard this video card cranks out more than enough frames in the games I play. The drawback is that without going out on the internet to find the write-ups to change the fan speed this card idles very hot, and climbs into the extremely hot zone when playing games. The latest version of Rivatuner allows you to set the fan speed, and there is a work around for setting up the custom profile in the Catalyst Control Center, if you look for it.

I helped out a friend by giving them my 640mb 8800 GTS, so I had to get a replacement quick. I had a hard time deciding between the 260 and this. I read a lot of reviews, but they seemed so close I just went with whatever was on sale at the time.
